Hello lovely Mushies! I come to you with some updates regarding our semi-moving from DA! Lots of you have expressed on discord (over 50 of you!) That you'd much rather use Discord for things like MYO approvals and things and Toyhou.se and we're doing our best with Toyhou.se atm but it will take time! However I'm here to tell you what we have switched to! So as you can see we now have a new section appeared which is now accessible to all users! Please be sure to read the rules for all 3 channels (1 updated) and if you do have any questions or we missed explaining something please poke us in #questions ! Our new channels are: #myo-approval - This channel is to get your MYO approved. We have options for those who'd rather do it privately, but this is here to make it easier on us mods who are struggling with group notifications and users not getting fast response due to this ! Please again be sure to read our rules carefully before submitting. #ownership-log - This channel is for updating us on trading, like the masterlist / written and visual, but here on discord! Please be sure to provide proof where necessary to ensure a smooth transaction! Our updated channel is of course #myo-wips ! This channel is a little more strict than it was before though now you can get a pre approval before sending in to the #myo-approval channel NOTE this doesn't mean they're 100% approved it just means there seems to be no errors. UPDATE: 15/Nov 2019
Uncommon trait removed! SINCE this update uncommon and common traits are now MERGED. You can no longer purchase Uncommon MYO as it's now been simplified to Common. If you still have an uncommon MYO that's completely okay to send in for approval still, we expect that, but your Dextroluma will fall under the new rarity, common. We figured there's no sense in using the term uncommon when rare is basically that. So our new rarities are - Common - Rare - Legendary - Mutated ! We hope you understand our changes and simplifying of the species, it helps a lot greatly for new members too who may be a little overwhelmed by traits! Thank you heaps for your feedback and supporting!

September 2019 BIG UPDATES
UPDATES
I'd appreciate all if you could to read this when possible as we'll be making some rather large *and new* changes for the group!! More specifically, leaning towards crystals and how they're earned, and boosting a few things here and there! Here's the following updates that are in the works and are not yet complete but in time, will be! <33
REWORK Crystal Store
Some newer things will be added to reward those who have been in the species for a very long time as well as newbies, originally we had it so that newbies could get goodies a little easier (which is still staying!) However, we feel out older members are a little more neglected and want to fix this! That being said, we are thinking up some new fun ideas which will help bring the crystal store back into use for both new and old members alike! ♥ It doesn't necessarily mean anything will be taken from the store just yet, but we are definitely adding much more items! We're excited for you to see them all!! There's a lot of fresh ideas coming in we think will make the store more enticing, easier to look around and easier ways of earning!
New triannual Gacha (triannual - 3 times a year)
We have decided a previous idea we had to bring back and set it up for good! Our idea of a monthly gacha originally has changed into a triannual gacha, appearing at the beginning, middle and end of the year for 4 days! In this gacha, many prizes are to be had including Dextroluma, Gextro, Outfits, crystals and on special occasions a MYO may pop out! This is going to be in the works and we are going to start this NEXT YEAR so we're prepped and ready! We hope you like the sounds of this, because we're just super excited to get it out already!
Marketplace applications and community stores
You may remember some time ago, we had introduced the community stores and marketplace applications! However, they didn't take off too well. This time we hope they will and can get people a little more into the idea of earning crystals! The idea behind the community marketplace is, you're offering your commissions, outfits, whatever for money,points and even crystals! SO they become trade-able with this ! We're still in a rework of this however we hope you'll be able to enjoy it sometime soon! Hopefully in the next month or earlier! All will be explained a lot better when we bring out the journal with much more details, and if questions are still circling you, then we're happy to help you out!
Special salon!
CrystalBerri decided on this beautiful idea! Offering new hairstyles for your Dextroluma if they need a little boost here and there! This feature is able to be paid in 3 ways, crystals, cash and points! So there's a chance for everyone. This is specifically for hairstyles however we will feature some other options in this journal if required! Some of you on the discord may have seen a cute little example Crystal did! Keep your eyes peeled for many more of those ♥
Bringing back an earning system!
We're bringing back a very old school earning system and fixing up quests here and there so they're more special. So back onto the old school earning. Our older members may remember us creating a journal where you could earn MP (MP = mushroom points, older currency!) for drawing your dextro, commissioning them etc. It did happen to get messy and we decided to close it for the better until we could come up with a better system. We are bringing this back, I'm unsure of the time window for this one at the moment but it will be essentially back up and running at LEAST by next year. We already have the earning side sorted, it's just a case of re-writing the journal and some rules here and there, a guide for those new to it, the little things all add up! More info will be added on this at a later date but I just wanted to officially announce it!
Those are our biggest updates up to now! Of course there's a lot of things on the backburner while we focus on the above such as -

It's been a short while after the contest and I've decided to now release the new regions and make them official and live!
So we have the new region by Chixerii here!

DELTA//HYPERSPACE DETAILS --
- GALAXY FINS CAN NOT BE USED AT THIS TIME.
- Nebula markings are ok to use! they must be cluttered on areas of the skin and resemble stars and swirls! They must include - their fin colour ONLY These can be all over the body! The colours can be faded, slight different shades but nothing drastic!
"Unlike the speckles on a typical dextroluma, those with galaxy patterned fins will show unusual skin markings as well, which resemble a nebula or even a constellation.
This will glow immensely bright in the dark and in space, often being mistaken for actual space matter. "
EG: the markings on #3 here
- Halos
"On the head, around the arms, horn, tail, etc. These Dextro can posses Halos to distinguish them better. These are red hot to the touch if its not consensual.
This is often considered a sign of power and spirituality, as these halo are uncommon even for Delta dextroluma."
The halo is a brighter color, glowing hot of the main fin color! If multiple colors with the mutation trait, you may add in multiple, even rainbow as long as it matches the fins!
- Glowing hair
"Any colour or pigment will glow much brighter than a normal Dextrolumas, even more so when they are in space. (With the exception of black and darker tones)."

Corrupt Dextro
-If a Dextroluma shows signs of corruption, aggressive or erratic behavior, weakness or unhealthy tendencies, then they are refused permission to leave the planet. This is for a number of reasons. Predominantly, this is to ensure that they are physically strong enough to break through the planets atmosphere. Corrupted Dextro are too unstable in structure to break through the planets atmosphere, and it takes a huge toll on the bodies of Dextroluma in general, so only the most physically capable are able to do this without consequence.
PLEASE mark your traits when submitting MYOs with these new reigons / traits !!

FAIRY GLEN DETAILS --
- These Dextroluma have had 0 interaction with humans as the region was discovered long after them visiting their world. Their outfits must be fairy, floral, nature inspired nothing modern. There are some Dextro with some human wears in this region however they wear and tear easily and are usually not worn. Otherwise Dextroluma here are quite fond of being nude!
- The bonsai tree drawing is not to be used, just the bark horn material only!
- The bauble trait is not canon/to be used.
Bark Horn details
Unfortunately Dex transferring in are not available to get them because. Obvious reasons. But Dex born there can have bark horn option or normal horns. And the horns just follow the horn rarity for amount of horns just the material is bark

Quoted from JKDreamer ! Basically the way the wings work:
- Takes 2 or so months to gain the wings through eating Glen shrooms
- and Glen/Field dex CAN leave, but the wings vanish after a month or so of not consuming the glen mushrooms (the ones that give them wings)
- These can always be brought back once they return and consume the mushrooms again however.
So it's a trait, but not a required trait. Like you can live there and live off fairy field mushrooms and the occasional glen mushroom dish/taste and not get wings and still be healthy and such
And as for wing types, they are fairy/butterfly/dragonfly like. They can come in any design that falls under those three, and the freckle markings on your back are in the same shape as the wings you have /
Wings can be any color and of any design that is insect related!

22nd November 2018 UPDATE
UPDATES
Our Black friday sale begins in an hour from now for MYO slots, after Friday night Dextroluma MYO will be closing for some time until our new update is in place!
Some things we are working on with the new update
- Pricing change
- Reworking the masterlist system (see below)
- Visual masterlist update (and getting on top of MYOs needing to be updated. We have a total of 200+ MYO that still need to be uploaded, they're all watermarked so we expect to do this as quick as we can.
Why is this taking place?
Myo slots closing helps us focus on the stuff that's already there so we can get on top of what's needed and then we can open them back up once we're done with that! Please understand, we're doing our best to get on top of the masterlist and figure out a fun, easy system to get things done faster.
In the meantime, I recommend you go to the DextrolumaMasterlist and comment in the correct spot confirming if you own, have traded, or bought a Dextroluma in the past! All adoptables are up there but we are missing a mass amount of MYO, so please if your MYO isn't there please be patient with us!
As for the reworking the masterlist system, in terms of MYO we have decided on a new way to track MYO, trades and so on.
So below we have beautiful tickets designed by Vioclipse
So how do the tickets work?
These tickets will serve as a sort of token for you to redeem your MYOs.
Once you have bought a MYO ticket, you will receive the graphic (please keep it safe, along with the number written on the graphic) To provide as proof for you owning the slot. These graphics will be uploaded to the masterlist account when the sale goes through, we then require you to comment on it to confirm you're the owner of said slot. We will then update the ticket graphic with your MYO once you've sent it in and is approved.

Big announcement here! We're revealing TWO new Uncommon fins starting today <3 They are usable from this point on!
They were designed by our admin Lollilumi ! And you can view them on our guide right here!

Another big update here from Lunathyst ! Please make sure to read through the log ^^ <3 I will update this another time after this post so those who haven't seen it can view. As well as posting into the discord!
We're making some more changes inbetween things so please allow us some time to get things back up to scraps!

We feel as though we need to do an overhaul on these things so as we work on them they will be closed until further notice. We will of course announce when things are closed (especially MYOs!) so you have plenty of time to prepare for them. ^^/ As os right now we are closing the following:

These are on hold / closed due to the fact we have had few mods hiatus and we need to just get up to scraps on things again, so while these are closed please do not post / register anymore . Order from the Crystal store or complete any quests!
For quests we are revamping them again to make it much easier to earn enough Crystals to purchase items from the shop, we feel that it seems to be quite the grind and having the Crystal shop in a trial sort of sense for a while has made us see this.
The crystal store is the same explanation above. We're also doing a graphics rehaul when we have the time.
The masterlist is closed until we can update the current forms that have been posted as we're severely backlogged as of right now.

+ Two tone fins become unlimited in patterns, styles and colours!!
+ Crystal growth on body
+ Merging amputation and torn limbs (can have both or either)
+ Scales (coloured tips to make them stand out)
Scales are not over the body but on certain areas!
+ Missing eye - with this they can become a cyclops (so the eye is now centered and larger)
or they can have a single missing eye, or both eyes missing.

It is uncommon for halos to appear in the delta/hyperspace region but they are possible.
They can orbit small objects such as little stars, stones and asteroid fragments with a slight glow.

Hello dears an update coming from Lunathyst here! I would like to announce a new update regarding MYO approvals!! Please do read this before sending in newer approvals as we're now asking for more details.
When submitting your MYO please give us the following
-Proof of purchase / Trades / Swaps etc
-MYO design (must be coloured, have visible traits, nothing rushed.
- A list of the traits used (must match up to your slot of purchase!) In the note itself of the sta.sh link you're sending in!
This form will help make it easier so please use this when sending your MYOs in!
- REGION: (Skin colour must match the region of choice. If you're unsure please ask my mods! They're happy to help!)
- PURE OR CORRUPTED: (If you have the necrosis trait please state here, if not put PURE. Please have proof of the necrosis trait on hand)
- FIN TYPE: (list the type + rarity)
- FIN PLACEMENT: (List rarity)
- TAIL TYPE: (List the rarity of the tail)
- HORN(S): (List the rarity / amount of horns)
- CRYSTAL HORN: (Proof of legendary slot or crystal add on at hand please, if non please add No to the form)
- HAIR: Common (single colour), Rare (2 colour), Legendary (multicolour)
THINGS TO NOTE WHEN DESIGNING YOUR DEXTROLUMA!!
+ Rainforest region can have any coloured tattoos (please stick to 1 colour) This colour can be the same as their fin colour or something different. I only allow one colour for rainforest region though.
+ Solid markings are a no go unless the purchase of a glowing tattoo or rainforest region.
+ Gradient markings are fine! please make sure to stick to colours
+ Frill fins are actually transparent, please remember this!
+ Crystal horns can be the colour of the Dextro's skin or their fin colour. Nothing else.
+ Freckles can be in large clumps to create 'solid' marking areas. Dextroluma MUST have freckles. Even if very little they are needed.
+ Genitalia does glow and is the same colours as their fins/freckles
+ Please make sure the fin style is consistent as we've had many hiccups with design approvals lately!

15th April 2017 UPDATE
After much debate with mods and Lunathyst we have decided to make a change to the system. We have been having problems with artists no wanting us to comment on their works, which that is a reasonable request and we should respect that. That along with the fact that as it is now, the MP system is just so complex in how you earn points, it's been hard to keep up with, even with various mods working it. So changes were needed.
Please be respectful if you choose to comment on this journal. Questions and comments are allowed, but yelling at mods, saying our decision is stupid, that we are stupid, or that we ruined the group is not allowed. Keep in mind that any changes we have done to the MP system are for the best. The MP system is something we are doing for everyone FOR FREE. We are taking time out of our day to try and make this fun, but fair, to everyone involved and so please don't harrass or blame our mods. If you have serious complaints, please note JKDreamer regarding them and I'll do my best to address them.
Credit is given where credit is due, a large part of the changes and structure-rework was inspired by Constellation-Senshi - CrystalAnimamates
They are both organized groups that give back to the community within, but in a structured way that keeps things running and manageable but fun!
As of 4/15/2017
Removal of a MP Aspect
You will no longer receive points for any art that is not your own. This means:
- commissioned art
- Gifted art
- Trades
- Requests
We know there will be those that are upset but ultimately we want to respect artists, as well as properly give rewards to those that take the time to draw their own Dextroluma. It feels like right now with the commissioned art, people could use it to basically use USD to buy MP. We want to encourage you drawing or writing about your own Dextroluma. Your art skill does not matter as long as you are drawing to the best of your abilities and it is not something that looks rushed/unfinished just to gain rewards.
All art submitted to the folder up to this point will be rewarded like usual but future art will not. It will instead be given new currency rewards.
Conversion of Currency
MP points will now be converted into crystals, in preparation for the quests and earning points/crystals through them so we have one even currency across the board. We will be rounding points and be changing them over.
MP System offline
This means right now the MP system will be offline, while we work on converting and updating what art you draw gets what point/crystals, so we don't run into having to constantly go back and convert your new points due to drawing your dextroluma. Any draws done during this down phase will unfortunately not be counted once the system comes back up as tracking what has and hasn't been counted would be a nightmare.
Super Group!
We are now a super group, thanks largely to Lunathyst and like. 400 points donated by myself. This means we are working on making our front page more attractive to everyone as well as organizing our folders better in preparation for the upcoming Quest system!
Coming soon
Complete conversion of MP system into Quests
Eventually, once the Quests get hammered out, and we have everything organized, we will work on completely eliminating the MP point system. The new crystal system will be in place and you should be able to earn them through the Quests, Events, and Drawing Dextroluma of the month. Even if you don't draw, you can write. If you dont't want to do either, there will still be other events, random raffles, and such that will allow you to earn crystals outside of drawing/writing! So you won't be excluded if you don't want to participate in the drawing or writing aspects.
Easier Tracking
The mods are working on a way to keep easier track of the crystals for ourselves, but also let everyone else keep up to date on how many crystals they have! In addition, we are working on a better way to award the crystals, so our mods will stop having to reply to inquires about 'did you count this piece?' -- There is an idea being discussed that could work without having to comment on the actual deviations, so we are looking into possibly doing that for the Quest System.
Quest System
We will be giving more updates about the quest system and how it works! We will also slowly be adding in different quests and events within this as well, so you can keep earning points, as well as surprise flash quests that could be related to anything.

So we're at that time where we have quite a bit of outdated areas in the group and it's time to buckle down on them and get them up to scraps so things are a bit easier and nicer to read, look at and enjoy! We've had lovely suggestions from our discord server about what we can do to add and make things better and I super appreciate that!

UPDATE ONE
Tails are no longer classed as a rarity.
That's right! We're scrapping the tail rarity trait as a whole from today! So whatever fin placement you'd like on your tail you can pretty much go wild! Please keep in mind that tail fins must match the fins on the body! <3 Tails are of course optional and have never been a set in stone requirement for Dextroluma so if you don't like tails no problem! <3
UPDATE TWO
Rare torn fins and uncommon fins are being merged!
Since torn fins and spiked fins are fairly alike, I want to merge the two and make torn fins from rare to uncommon. To those who own this rare trait can have a free rare trait in it's place since it will be downgrading some designs and I don't want to feel like I'm forcing people to lower rarities if they don't want it! So the option is there please just send your Dextroluma in for re-approval with the new traits and a screenshot of this journal! <3
*Designs made after this update do not gain access to the rare trait change!
UPDATE THREE
New trait sheet (updated and clean, no more clicking through endless links it'll be a big post!)
We're currently in the works for a HUGE new overhaul of the trait / species sheet and a bit more of an updated written lore piece as some things have been altered over the years we've been active!
- Firstly the trait sheet will take time but we'll be merging everything into one huge post for easier viewing!
- Mutations will be in an entire new trait sheet separate to this
- MYO guides! Some people struggle with myos and we want to make that easier for you so we'll also be working on a helpful guide to the world of MYOs and how you get them done nice and easy without worrying your heads! We want to make this process fun and enjoyable and it's not good if you can't have a clear viewing of all the traits and information in front of you!
UPDATE FOUR
Dextroluma alphabet
It's on it's way and our first trial piece has been roughly sketched up! I want to clean it up and place it in a nicer more presentable way and possibly even make it a font you can download at some point! This alphabet will be mostly used for RP, store related content and mystery quests we'll set up in the future
UPDATE FIVE
Royal Guards / Protection services
We have had quite a few people in the discord mention the protection services in the Dextroluma world and after taking some time to discuss this with mods we've decided on something we're all quite happy with doing! I'm currently in the process of making Regional Crests (as some saw me mention on Discord) as well as some basic guard uniforms that will be free to use *Species related only please!

Tropical
Rain forest - Sweet and savory this mushroom is extremely popular outside of the Rainforest region. It is the perfect combination of flavour! Tropical - A slight sweet taste, this tropical mushroom isn't very known. It is generally eaten with desserts due to it's sweet, citrus flavour!

I am proud to announce THE NEW REGION(s)!!

Along with the new region there is a new fin type! As you can see, 2 of these Dextroluma here have this fin type! It is called "Frill" and is a rare fin type!
This fin only has one bauble placement as the rest of the fin is a semi-transparent area. I know it's hard to tell here but these fins (on #2 and #6) are semi-transparent.
As you can see, the new region Dextro only have tribal-esque markings! They get minimal sunlight so they have little to no spots at all. However, they are tattooed very early in their life, some Dextro have similar patterns due to what tribe they are in. These Dextroluma stick in tribes and only tribes. They still have royals and all tribes will have a Chief.

RAIN FOREST REGION
Rainforest region Dextroluma live here, and only these types are able to live here due to the fact this area does not get any sun whatsoever. It is dark, damp and perfect for those who are born and raised here. Other Dextroluma who visit have to be extremely careful as not to offend the Rainforest Dextro and their cultures. They cannot overstay their welcome and must not interrupt the flora and fauna around them (This means strictly no picking their sacred Rainforest Mushrooms!) These are extremely limited outside of the Rainforest region although, some pesky thieves have been able to snag a few as they're mouthwatering sacred goods! To live in this region the Dextro must be born and raised here, they are born without markings and are, from an early age, tattooed with tribal markings. (They can be anything! Some Dextro add more tattoos once older as to pay respects to their tribes/chiefs)
SUB REGION
Tropical
The tropical region, a much more lenient area to the mysterious island that has emerged! The tropical sub region is much more lax in terms of visitors! Quite similar to the Desert Dextroluma, these Dextro get all the sun the Rain forest does not! These lands are filled with beaches, pools and extraordinary plants and trees! The special mushroom that grows here isn't too known as it's very rare Dextro have the will to pass through the Rain forest to get the other side. Those Dextro that do put up with the strange traditions and tribes and make it through have the time of their lives! It is often seen as a 'holiday/vacation' sort of setting for Dextroluma. Some Rain forest Dextroluma visit this destination however cannot stand the sun due to their homeland. Tropical region Dextroluma have regular markings although some of them do tattoo themselves as if from tribes.

Can I make a Dextroluma tribe?
Yes! I'm going to be setting up a section where you can apply for a tribe. (It is limited to one tribe per person) Your Dextroluma must be born and raised in the RAIN FOREST region and must be the Chief of the tribe. You can then start recruiting tribe members (these will just be regular members but will need to be of the Rain forest region to actually join.) This is also hopefully going to help those new in the RP community (like myself) in wanting to roleplay with their Dextrolumas!
What is a chief?
They just run the tribe! It is not considered anything royal or special really. They're just in charge of their tribe in the Rain forest region!
I want to change one of my existing Dextroluma into a rain forest region is that possible?
It is heavily dependable on a few things really. For now I'm going to say no as it's too complicated to work out this. Especially if the existing Dextroluma has art, stories, communication with others outside of the region.

Yes you may! I haven't gotten the trait sheets updated yet but, Everything you need to know should be listed in here. PLEASE make sure to note me your sta.sh upload of the design before you upload elsewhere so I can look over. ^^
Will their be an adopt/auction for the royal of the new regions?
As of now, no.
What colour are tribal markings supposed to be?
They do not have to match the colour of the inner fin colour the Dextroluma has. However most tribal dex seem to choose their tattoo colouring the same as their fin colour.
